About
Carlos Caetano is a Portuguese photographer and digital artist.
Worked as a graphic designer since 1991 and from 2005, photography gradually became his main occupation.
The experience in graphic design and advertising studios, with access to computers and graphics software, granted him the learning of technical skills in digital illustration, photo manipulation and post-processing.
From 1992 to 1995 he attended a professional photography course and shortly after, won his first 1st prize in a prestigious national photo contest which gave him the motivation to pursue a career in photography.
He's a freelance photographer and stock imagery contributor. His images have been licensed and published all over the world in marketing and advertising pieces, websites, magazines and book covers.
His interests and influences are broad, from the classic Magnum masters of Street and Documental photography, to creative digital compounds, passing through Landscape and Nature photography.
Currently, Carlos creates images for stock agencies serving the Book Publishing market. He also works as a freelance photographer for Real Estate agencies and private home owners.
His passion for Street Photography is patent with the "Rua da Prata - Street Photography project"
He is available for photographic assignments and/or image post-processing and retouch.
